The Rossfeld Panoramastraße can be reached via the north and south access roads. The south ascent leads over the Obersalzberg to the south toll station. The north slip road starts in Oberau and leads to the north toll station. The summit section connects the south and north slip roads.
Part of the summit section runs along the German/Austrian border and part of the road runs on Austrian territory.

Tolling & prices
The Rossfeld Panoramastraße is classified as a federal private road, as there is no supra-local connection. The entire maintenance (2 – 3 times higher than for a federal road in a valley), the further expansion and the administrative costs are to be financed from the toll revenue. Around 100,000 vehicles use the Rossfeld Panoramastraße every year.

Parking
The Rossfeld Panoramastraße has around 400 parking spaces at the viewpoints. The map shows the most important car parks.
Generous parking facilities and a breathtaking panoramic view of the imposing Alpine panorama await you at the top of the road. Use the road as a starting point for unforgettable hikes and enjoy the hospitality of the mountain inns and kiosk.
Requests for photo and film shoots as well as test drives
The Rossfeld Panoramastraße is an extremely popular backdrop for photo and film shoots as well as test drives.
